OneEnergy is an NZ innovator striving to make energy affordable for all Kiwis.

OneEnergy’s flagship solution is their solar electric hot water technology that enables households to affordably harness and store all Solar PV energy produced as heat in their existing hotwater cylinders. The benefit to households is that all Solar PV energy produced is retained within the household and not exported to the grid, greatly enhancing the affordability and economics of their overall Solar PV solution. The immense benefit to New Zealand’s electricity infrastructure being that OneEnergy is able to reduce grid demand, and time shift residual hot water heating AC demand.

With support from Ara Ake, OneEnergy has demonstrated the tangible benefits of their solution to all stakeholders.
